“Since long, too long, I have been being really short-sighted. I now need to look backwards and take the time to know the direction I want to move towards”, he said.

This pause is necessary for the artist to go back to himyself and pursue his artistic life. “I felt like I did a lot, but, in fact I ran a lot and blew hot air. It is time to reorganize a few things and to refocus away from the bustle. I changed as a man, and I need to make match the artist and the man” said Pierre-Arnaud Dablemont.

The artist has also mentioned the need of rest and wants to recover “the simple pleasure of playing the piano without restraint.”

Living in the Czech Capital City for almost five years, the young pianist originally from northern France will inaugurate his program entitled …Soundscapes in the sumptuous baroque hall of the Palffý Palác. On the agenda, four works written at four different times:

Mozart’s Sonata in C Major K.330.
Chopin’s Sonata in B Flat Minor op. 25 (Funeral March).
Debussy: 3 Préludes: Les Collines d’Anacapri, La Danse de Puck, Feux D’artifices.
Ohana: 2 Études d’interprétation: Cadences libres,Troisième pédale.

Invitation to create an imaginary world with, as a starting point, music, sonorous evocation of a lived space, or combination of both, …Soundscapes explores accoustic spaces. From warm to cold, from laughter to drama, from marvellous landscapes to tearing screams, Pierre-Arnaud Dablemont will be your guide in this musical introspection.

These concerts are the concretized promise of replacement made after the cancellation of the recital initially scheduled for last June 20th.

Pierre-Arnaud will inaugurate the opening of his new season after an absence of almost three months for health reasons.

Installed in Czech Republic for two years, the young interpreter will occur for the first time as a soloist in the Czech Capital City. Under his fingers, we will hear on November 7th, Beethoven’s sonata in A flat Major opus 26, Chopin’s sonata in B flat minor opus 35, and Ravel’s Gaspard of the night. On November 14th, his program will be devoted to the pictures at an exhibition of Modest Moussorgsky, the Sonata III. of Karol Szymanowski and the third sonata of Luboš Fišer. Two programs including, for the first, works of the great repertory and for the other, pieces relatively little played.

Greeted by the press for his too rare public apparations, the artist delivers always brilliant and mature interpretations of the most difficult piano works. Discrete personality, racé and elegant, incredible pianistic technique, infinite pallet of colors, Pierre-Arnaud Dablemont, by the control of his art, can hold the public’s attention with power.

An intimate hall, a dazzling program, a free concert; all the ingredients are joined together to let yourselves bewitch by this fantastic pianist.

After a displacement of the first cervical vertebra having involved complications such as a serious fall of hearing, the pianist had decided in May to suspend all his activities. His condition is now considered satisfactory.

The pianist will start the new season with 2 recitals in Prague, on November 7th and 14th 2006, to replace the cancelled concert of June.
